On Monday, October 30, the Crusader Boys Cross Country Team competed in the TAPPS 6A State Championship Meet in Waco, TX.  It was a beautiful day and a beautiful course, but by far the most challenging course the runners have seen all year with long hills paired with almost continuous ups and down in between.  In spite of several with lingering illnesses and one food-related stomach issue, the boys ran well, giving their utmost efforts to compete with the best runners and teams in the state.  C. Gibson lead the entire pack of more than 120 runners up the first long hill, and was the first finisher for the Crusaders, followed by J. Kastenschmidt, D. Henscheid, J. Everitt, L. Hunsdale, D. Talley and A. Meier.
