Concordia Crusaders boys won the Louisiana Showcase soccer tournament in Lake Charles, LA this past weekend. The boys played four games finishing with three victories and one tie. The Saders scored nine total goals this weekend led by Noah Boggus with three of his own. Jazer Maldonado and Jacob Singer both had numerous assists. The back line was led by Zack Pindell and Justin Schaefer along with back up goalie Bryce Rostkowski. Rostkowski recorded 4 shutouts in the tournament. The teams the Crusaders defeated were all public schools in Louisiana including Barbe, DeRidder, and Beau Chene. Crusader boys soccer looks to continue their success tomorrow night at St. Thomas. Their overall record is 6-4-1 with a district record of 1-2.
