On Monday night the Crusader seniors made the most of their Senior Night. The Crusaders scored 18 runs in the first inning and added another in the second to cruise to victory over Duchesne.  The Crusaders honored seniors Maddie Quickel (P), Lindsay Wood (C), Alyssa Iverson (1B), Brooke Neumeyer (3B), Jessica Geiger (RF), Amanda Daniels (OF), and Sarah Reda (IF), who have all made outstanding contributions to the softball program. Disney then District From March 16 to 21, Varsity Crusader Softball participated in the Disney Spring Training Tournament at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, FL.  The team posted victories over Cheshire Academy (CT) and Nutley HS (NJ), and suffered losses to Union County HS (TN) and Smackover HS (AR).  The team’s trip was successful and provided the girls with a great experience playing high level competition. Despite leading 1-0 going into the bottom of the 5th inning against Beaumont Kelly, the Crusaders gave up 6 runs in the bottom of that inning and another 5 in the 6th inning.  Crusaders’…

Softball updates Feb 28 Crusader Softball faced their toughest pitcher of the year in St. John’s L. Suanson, who struck out 14 Crusaders and gave up only one hit in route to an 11-0 victory for St. John. March 2nd Crusader Softball secured their first district win with seniors Maddie Quickel, Alyssa Iverson, and Lindsay Wood leading the way with 10 of the Crusaders 13 total hits.  The Crusaders increased their season record to 7-2, 1-1 in district play.

The Crusader softball team was busy over the weekend and this past Tuesday playing a lot of softball.
