Girls track places 4th overall The Crusader Boys track team won their first District 3 championship last night by winning two out of the three relays.  The team of Kaleb Crowder, Andrew Elder, Scott Dickerson and Karlton Covington won gold in the 4×1 and the 4×4, consisting of Andrew Elder, Collin Howard, Corbett Fong, and Cage Cavazos finished the night by beating their competition by 7 seconds.  In the field portion of the meet, Jake Holland won the discus and Corbett Fong won the Long Jump by resetting his school record with a jump of 22 feet and 5 inches.…

Softball updates Feb 28 Crusader Softball faced their toughest pitcher of the year in St. John’s L. Suanson, who struck out 14 Crusaders and gave up only one hit in route to an 11-0 victory for St. John. March 2nd Crusader Softball secured their first district win with seniors Maddie Quickel, Alyssa Iverson, and Lindsay Wood leading the way with 10 of the Crusaders 13 total hits.  The Crusaders increased their season record to 7-2, 1-1 in district play.

Crusader Baseball played in the College Station Tournament this weekend and finished with 2 wins and 3 losses. The Crusaders kicked off Thursday with a 0-6 loss to Hudson High School and lost a tough one to Bryan 2-3. On Friday, the Crusaders dropped their opening game to the Robinson Rockets 4-8. This would prove to be their last loss of the tournament. The Crusaders bounced back and beat College Station High School 5-3 and A&M Consolidated 4-2. The Crusaders will be back in action again this Thursday in the New Caney tournament vs Waller at 3:00.

The Crusader softball team was busy over the weekend and this past Tuesday playing a lot of softball. Last night, the Concordia Girl’s Tennis team held their second match at the new tennis complex against Duchesne. Leah Walko had a default at line 1 singles while her counterpart Elise Chouinard had a tough loss against Ariel Schumacher  6-2,6-0 at Number 2 singles. Katie Campbell and Makayla Vasek played a tough match at line 1 doubles and lost 6-0,6-0 to Lindsay Brink and Kristina Shelyukh.
