Complete Results Boys repeat as State Champs The Concordia Boys track team accomplished the incredible feat of back-to-back state championships in dramatic fashion on Saturday. Going into the last race of the day the Crusaders were up on Bishop Dunne by one point. To secure the state championship Concordia had to beat the Falcons. Crusader track has been breaking records and burning up the track this year. The Boys, 2017 State Champions, returned nearly all of their team from last year and it is showing. The Crusaders have competed in 4 meets this year of those 4 meets they Boys have taken 1st in all but one of those meets. In the meet they didn’t win, they took 2nd place. The Crusader Track team traveled to Waco this weekend to participate in the TAPPS state meet held at the pristine Clyde Hart track and field stadium. The march to the state championship began on Friday with the field events. Noah Barboza was the first Crusader to crack the board with an 8th place finish in the Shot put, gaining one point for the team.
