The Saders had their first meet of the season on Friday Oct 7th. The girls team won with great swims from Kyndall Bridges, Kaiti Walko, Katie Shipley and Emily Howell in the 200 Medley relay. Kaiti Walko had an awesome showing in the 200 IM with a 2:30.52. Monica Gumina was really moving water. She broke the Summer Creek High School pool record in the 50 free going 24.76 and also broke a school record in the girls 400 free relay with a 100 freestyle time of 55.17!! CONGRATS Monica!

Our Boys had a great showing as well. Coming in second with terrific swims from Mason Swanner, Joey Shine, Mason Hevle and Wade Kiel. They swam the 200-medley relay coming in first with a time of 1:51.33. Mason Swanner took home the gold in the 100 Breaststroke punching out 1:11.13. Great swim, Mason!!

Both girls and boys teams placed first in the 200 Medley relay and 400 Freestyle relay. The boys team was just out touched in the 200 freestyle relay and the girls came in first. It was an awesome start to the season and a great debut by our new swimmers. The swimming team will be back in action at the LCISD Private School Invite on Oct 29th at Lamar Consolidated Natatorium. Meet Starts at 9:00am. GO SADERS!
