Concordia boys varsity soccer team experienced a heart breaking loss at Houston Christian. The Crusaders went ahead in the first half with a goal by Jacob Singer only to be quickly answered by an accidental own goal for the opposing team. Houston Christian answered with a goal in the second half, and Jazer Maldonado  responded with a goal from a free kick to tie up the game 2-2. Houston Christian pulled ahead with a goal with 10 minutes left in the game. The Crusaders fought hard and hit the cross bar with a few minutes remaining, but they could not find the back of the net. Their next competition comes at the St. John tournament this weekend.
