Crusader football added another “W” in the win column last week by defeating the Lutheran South Pioneers. The victory makes the Crusaders 5-1 on the season. Following a blowout win over the Falcons of Brookshire Royal, 49-15, the Crusaders continued playing stifling defense. Aided by big hits and sacks the Crusaders held the Pioneers to 14 points. The offense got it rolling in the 2nd quarter with a Kendahl Ross Touchdown. Then struck again in the 3rd with a Jack Wilkins TD and two-point conversion, which put the Saders up 14-7. The Crusaders added 14 more points in the 4th quarter to finish with a final of 28-14. This week, the Saders will host Kinkaid (3-3) as they return home to play their homecoming game.
