The program promotes physical strength and health as well as an active pursuit of Christian ideals in high school student’s personal lives and education.

The LAAA High School Girl’s Soccer All-American Program and the Lutheran High School Girl’s Soccer Team Ethics & Sportsmanship Award is selected from all 189 Lutheran high schools in the USA and Canada. The high schools are contacted annually to submit nominees for the All American and Ethics & Sportsmanship Awards.

The LAAA All-American honor will be awarded annually to recognize the best players at their respective positions from their high school season. Coaches nominate student athletes with high athletic, academic, and spiritual integrity. The LAAA Team Ethics & Sportsmanship honor is based on the accumulation of red and yellow cards throughout the season on a team basis.
