More record breaking swims for the Sader girls’ swimming team.

The CLHS swim team headed to the Conroe ISD Natatorium to compete in the T.I.S.C.A Gulf Invitational before Thanksgiving break. The girls were able to walk away with 5 new school records. Junior Monica Gumina broke the school records in the 100yd Freestyle (51.42) and 200yd Freestyle (1:51.04). Senior Amy Brandenburg broke the school record in the 100yd Backstroke (1:05.23). The girls were also able to break two relay records in the 200yd Freestyle (1:44.69) and 400yd Freestyle relays (3:50.15).

The boys team posted season best times in the 200 Medley Relay (1:43.17) and 400yd Freestyle Relay (3:25.52) swum by Joey Shine, Mason Swanner, Mason Hevle and Seth Mandel. Top finishers on the day for the CLHS boy’s team were Seth Mandel in the 100yd Backstroke (54.40) in 10th place and Joey shine in the 100yd backstroke (55.25) finishing in 14th place.

The Sader swim team will compete in a dual meet against St. Johns on November 30th before heading into Christmas Break.
