Girls Basketball
The Girls Basketball team (12-3 Overall) ended 2020 in dominant fashion, winning their final 5 games. Playing host and victor of the Concordia Classic Tournament at the end of December, the Crusaders went 4-0 over the two days beating Willis (43-21), Woodlands Christian (45-34), Second Baptist (37-32), and St. John's (53-19).
In 15 games, the Crusaders are holding their opponents on average under 28 points per game. The team is excited for district play to begin and has high hopes for 2021!
Boys Basketball
The Concordia Boys Basketball team (12-4 Overall) closed out 2020 with a great run to the Finals of the Private School Classic at the end of December. Over the three day tournament, the Crusaders beat St. John's Houston (76-67), Lutheran South Academy (85-49), St. Thomas Episcopal (89-80), and Westbury Christian (93-90 OT) before falling to San Antonio Antonian (61-77).
In the semifinal victory, Concordia guard, RJ K. (Sr.), hit the game-winning 3-pointer in overtime and closed the game scoring the last 20 points for the Crusaders. Check out the video here: https://www.facebook.com/100009188373104/videos/2776854879297431
