Six Crusader athletes signed national letters of intent to compete at the next level during the Spring National Signing Day on Wednesday, April 12th inside Crusader Gymnasium. These athletes are all seniors and join the five other seniors who signed earlier in the year at the Fall Signing Day with their intent to compete in collegiate athletics.
- Caleb Blackburn (Boys Golf) signed with Aquinas College (Grand Rapids, MI) for Men’s Golf. Aquinas is a NAIA institution and their mascot is the Saints.
- Elijah Brown (Boys Swimming) signed with Indiana Wesleyan University (Marion, IN) for Men’s Swimming. Indiana Wesleyan is a NAIA institution and their mascot is the Wildcats.
- Zachary Daigre (Baseball) signed with Galveston College (Galveston, TX) for Baseball. Galveston College is a junior college institution and their mascot is the Whitecaps.
- Matthew Kangas (Boys Cross Country/Track & Field) signed with Concordia University, Texas (Austin, TX) for Men’s Cross Country and Men’s Track & Field. Concordia is a NCAA Division III institution and their mascot is the Tornados.
- Jessica McGavern (Girls Cross Country/Track & Field) signed with Texas A&M University – Texarkana (Texarkana, TX) for Women’s Cross Country and Women’s Track & Field. Texas A&M Texarkana is a NAIA institution and their mascot is the Eagles.
- Conrad Smith (Boys Soccer) signed with Howard Payne University (Brownwood, TX) for Men’s Soccer. Howard Payne is a NCAA Division III institution and their mascot is the Yellow Jackets.
