Global Embrace

Concordia’s Global Embrace starts right here in Tomball and the greater Houston area with our Christian Social Action class. Also, every year, the marketing class hosts a fundraiser during Homecoming to raise funds to help build a home for a family in need in Costa Rica. Since 2012, eight homes have been built by Concordia students on these mission trips!

Spring 2023 Costa Rica Mission Trip Information

Concordia is excited for the Spring 2023 mission trip to Costa Rica and we are currently accepting students to join the mission team. The trip will be March 10-15, 2023 and there are a total of only 20 student spots available.

With great thanks to the generosity of so many, there have been funds earmarked and dedicated to support the Global Embrace Mission Trip project to help with the costs associated with the trip. The cost for each attendee is $2,500, but Concordia will be using some of the earmarked funds to offset $500 of the cost for each student. The $200 deposit and enrollment needs to be filled and paid for by Dec. 1, 2022.
