Before the calendar turned to 2024, Concordia Boys Basketball Coach, Bill Honeck ‘88, led the Crusaders to victory for the 400th time in his 16 years at the helm of the program.

A total of 16 Concordia choir students were honored through TPSMEA Auditions and earned spots in the All-State and Region Choirs. The All-State nominees will travel to Dallas/Fort Worth metro at the end of January for their special weekend of clinics and performances while the Region Choir members will head downtown Houston in the middle of January.

Concordia’s competitive theatre One Act Play production of “Little Women” finished in 5th place at the State Competition in November. This was the first time advancing to State since 2019 following their District Runner-Up finish at the end of October.

The Crusaders Football team (8-3 Overall, 1-3 District) has advanced to the Regional Round of the TAPPS 6A State Playoffs and will face a tough opponent in Dallas Parish Episcopal on Friday, Nov. 17th in Dallas.

Concordia Lutheran High School, Tomball students were honored and invited to participate in Concordia University, Nebraska’s Honor Choir as part of their annual Musical Arts Day festivities. The 28 students from CLHS Tomball is a school record and represented 20% of the students in attendance.

Four Crusader athletes from two different teams signed to play at the next level in college at NCAA Division I and II schools in Texas and Georgia.

Concordia’s swim season has started well this year when the Crusaders dove into the pool in October. At the team’s first meet of the season on Oct. 21st, two of the 11 Girls Team School Records fell!

Concordia’s competitive theatre One Act Play production of “Little Women” is heading to the State Competition for the first time since 2019 following their District Runner-Up finish at the end of October. The Crusaders will head to Kerrville, TX for the State Championships seeking their second state title in school history.

Several groups on Concordia’s campus wore pink to help raise awareness in honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness month. Many student athletes and trainers used a variety of methods to raise awareness while also caring for some members of our Concordia family who have either battled breast cancer or are currently battling breast cancer.

The Crusader Speech & Debate Team is off to a fast start for the 2023-2024 school year, having already competed in two tournaments. The team is beginning their prep for the TAPPS 6A State Competition in Spring 2024 and will look to improve upon their State Runner-Up performance in 2023.
